In downtown Shenzhen where land prices are extremely high, there’s a forest of mangroves beside the sea, guarding Shenzhen’s coastline day and night. Many mysterious animals live in the mangroves, with hidden whereabouts and unknown living ways. Their movements are closely associated with the ecological environment of the mangroves and the beach. We spent more than a year in observing their lives in the mangroves, witnessing these tiny creatures’ amazing experiences in such a huge space. In the intertidal zone between the land and the ocean, all lives can’t escape from the power of tidal movements.
