On the occasion of the opening of the first Canada Golden Maple Film Festival, I wish to extend, on behalf of the Shenzhen Youth Video Festival Committee, warm congratulation to the opening of the forum.

Vancouver has been used as a famous filmmaking location over the years, and it became known as “Hollywood North”. The first CGM film festival is meant to create a greater understanding of multiculturalism through the art of films, and to foster the international development of the film industry.
